We are currently using Visual Mfg 6.5.2 (old version - I know) and have been on the current db since 2007. Recently, I've been asked to change how our packaging supplies are coded. Currently, they are set up as part ids and show up in the inventory perpetual, under raw materials inventory - based upon the product code. I've been asked to change the product code to point to an expense going forward.
Is there a way to do this without having to adjust out the inventory under that product code, change the GL code on the Product Code, and then re-adjust in the inventory?
Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
