Data Conversion - CloudSuite

Hello,

we will be moving from our current system to CloudSuite (Global HR / Benefits, etc..).   Does anyone who has gone through this have any recommendations on data conversion in terms of "who to convert" and "how much data to convert"?   Did you convert all employees in your current database, only Active employees, Actives with terms going back x number of years, etc..?  Of the employees converted, did you bring over only their current row of data, or did you build historical records for these individuals?   Looking for some advice and any lessons learned.

We are in the process of moving to GHR from S3. Not yet the CloudSuite version but to v11.0.17. We made the decision that we wanted all of our Employee Data in one location, so we are converting all of our important history, not name or address changes, to GHR so that all of the information can be seen in the audit logs for each employee. To accommodate this, we had to build our own conversion process using IPA to extract data from the S3 database as well as additional data from our previous HR system, hire and term data, to load into GHR.
