Add new field and edit type of existent in HistoryEditor

I woud like to know how add a new lookup to the HisotoryEditor or change the location field to lookup.

I'm using the custom module.

Here is the only documentation there is. Pretty sure there is a lookup example though it is on the activity, not history screens but the same approach applies. customerfx.com/.../
