Position History for Employees

I am need to pull a report from Lawson that will list all active caregivers and the date they went into their current position. can't use effective date because that changes when the pay rate changes also. I can alsway pull our all the positions an employee was in and back into the date, but that is a lot of data to pull for 4000 people dating back to 2009.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a report that would pull that data out?

I would start with the Employee table to get active employees currently in a caregives position and link that to HRHistory to find the start date they went into that Position. The field number to use for Position is 126

Thank you. I treid that but the history data it returns is when they entered the system, not when they went into that position. It does give me a starting point, so I am going to see if there is another table to pull in.

So we are trying to get a listing of position code changes for positions who have a specific supervisor code. I can get a listing of all of the changes to the position but not just when an employee changed a position. Is there a way to get just that? We do not want to see all of the pay rate or FTE changes just the based on them entering a new position.

Are you trying to get this out of S3 or GHR?

You should be able to query off the HRHistory table for just field 126 which will only show in history if the Position assigned to the employee changes. If there is a specific Personnel Action Code used for this change, you can link to the Persacthist table to filter on that Action Code.
