South Dakota Employer Administrative Fee BSI00460000

Infor released the patch to add tax type 095 for the new SD Employer Administrative Fee, but I am struggling with the PR05 setup. TFU10124 has instructions in it, but I'm not following how some of the values in the reg bulletin relate to the deduction code.

Has anyone set up their deduction code for this yet, and if so, would anyone be willing to share how they did it?

I'm trying again with this question. Has anyone set up the deduction code for SD employer administrative fee tax type 095?

Tax Type 095 for the South Dakota employer administrative fee is available via KB 1966701 (apps 10.0) or

KB # 1964865 (apps 9.0.1).

You would set this tax up on PR05 as an employer paid deduction (Adjust Pay=C) with the Tax Category=095.

Once tied to employees (update via PR113), BSI will return the tax amount during payment calculation.

I have the patch installed, and know what to do for a normal tax on the PR05, but wasn't sure to do with the long set of instructions in the Reg Bulletin. Are those not instructions for the PR05? That's what's tripping me up, because I don't understand them (except for the Tax Type 095 part).

That's all the extra behind-the-scenes stuff that the program does when you create the deduction with Tax Type=95 (formula number, year-to-date, etc). You can see those values if you really want to in the BSI Display Log that is created on the PR140 or PR80.
