IC190 "released transactions exists" for month end close v10

We had an issue with our month end closing with the above error message. What we found by running the IC220 was GL Date was entered as 02/27/23. Is there a report that can be ran by GL or AP to review the date range prior to month end closing? Thanks in advance for your help and advise.

The IC220 by transaction date like the one you rand is the only way I know to find it. Your issue is why the IC130 I run is dated 12/31/2020.

To avoid this problem, as well as users back dating, we used design studio to remove access to the GL Post Date field on all transaction screens. This makes it so the date defaults to the system default and eliminates the error.

Running the IC130 as Kat suggests would catch these and they should error out when they cross to GL so Finance can correct.

Another option would be to add the IC220 report to your closing process and just run it from the next day to 12/31/2999. This would tell you if you have a problem before starting the close.
