Yes, we have. We have a custom program for our LP that looks back and averages hours worked over a six month time period. It was not being run in the proper order and it put those two table out of sync.
unknown
We also have a few instances where the two are out of sync. Occasionally, when an employee terms or changes to an ineligible status, the balance on LP64.1 just disappears; there is no transaction deleting those hours. The balance on LP64.3 is correct. To allow the pay out of the hours, we have to restore them through an LP70 transaction. Since this also updates LP64.3 the two are never back in sync.
I found information on the Knowledge Base that this is a known issue but since it is so random, Lawson doesn't have a fix for it.

We also have times when the balance on LP65 does not match LP64.3; does anyone else have this issue & know what the solution would be? thx

I had to open a ticket with velocity to have them look at the tables to see where exactly the issue was. It was in the way we were processing the accrual calculation, for our custom program. BUT, I also know that if you have a manual transaction or event that did not close or get picked up properly while processing LP accruals, this could also be a reason for the table to not be the same. I was advised the only way to fix is to purge the person from the plan and rebuild. You have to be very careful when doing this because the events and manual entries will not automatically post, they must be manually entered. And if your vacation plans have anniversary date, and carryover rules this too will need to be monitored so the LP31 is correct. We have 8,000+ employees and I had to rebuild several of our hourly plans, it was not easy.

Thanks, our IT person update the database of the employee file that got affected and it works..
