I have a general question. Infor CRM is really the only CRM that I have worked with in my 30 years of being in IT. The company I work for used the SLX Client for years and we upgraded the to web client now owned by Infor. This company had the mentality that any user within the company (Not Sales Staff) could see all accounts and Leads but the Sales Staff could only see their Leads and Accounts assigned to them. Setting up teams was the way is was controlled.
Now with the web Client that method really doesn't work because of the Speedsearch option and the way the Lookup function seems to work.
My question is this - Is it typical for companies that use a CRM to lock down accounts and leads like this ? I get different answers depending on who I ask.
