Unable to install 64-bit version of Microsoft Office Add-in v10.0.7.280

I am unable to install the 64-bit version of MOA v10.0.7.280. I have tried this on two different computers, both of which have 64-bit versions of Office 2010, and I receive the following error:

Installation failed! Error identifying the MS Excel bitness. Please make sure that the installed MS Office is supported by Infor Lawson Add-Ins. The system cannot find the file specified.

I am able to install the 32-bit version of the add-in on a PC that has 32-bit Office 365, and I am able to install the older version of the 64-bit add-in on the PCs that have 64-bit Office. The problem with the old version, though, is that it crashes Excel every time a user runs a query.

Office 2010? Are you sure it's compatible with that version of Office?

We are mostly on 2013, but testing 2016 at this point. We have one beta tester using Office 2016 64-bit with the latest add-ins and so far, the update has been successful.

The Infor Compatibility Matrix shows the lowest "officially" supported level is Office 2013. You've probably already done this, but just in case...go into Excel and select File | About and make sure it says 64-bit there.

Apparently it is not compatible with 2010. Hopefully we will be able to upgrade them to a newer version. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for the info! We will have to either upgrade their versions of Office, or revert to an older version of the add-in.

We just installed MOA 64 bit for Office 2010. The only issue for us way it had to be installed by an administrator. The user could not install the software.

I was logged in as an administrator. Did you install 64-bit MOA v10.0.7.280?
