Database connector use as an first connector

Hi All,

I want to use the database connector as a first connector in the document flow and want it to trigger the BOD from the database, Can anyone suggest how I can achieve this.

Hi Gaurav,

You can write a stored procedure in the DB which will be triggered by Read action from ION (configured under documents of DB connection point). Note that the SP should generate an XML result set. When ION executes this SP it converts the XML to BOD and you can send this BOD further in the document flow.

May I know how the document flow will trigger, I saw a Scheduler in Database connection point. Will it trigger the workflow in defined time interval?.

ION will trigger the DB stored procedure as per the defined schedule and that's how the flow will start.
