Hi -
We are finally getting around to doing what our record retention policy says we need to do - purge employee records. And, I would love to hear from other Infor clients that have either purged or are planning on purging.
We crazily converted all our records from S3 (into which we'd converted all our records from our prior HR system, into which we'd converted all our records from the HR system prior to that...you get the picture) when we implemented GHR in August 2016. So, we have employee data on terminated employees going back years and years. We need to purge all data on all employees with a term date of 6 years or earlier (with some exceptions...re: retirement and legal).
I've found references to purging interfaced data (data going to S3 from GHR), correspondence, and appraisals. But, nothing about how to actually purge the employee that's been gone longer than 6 years out of GHR.
Is there anybody out there that has purged data on GHR? Or attempted it and has advice to share?
I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks.
