ENV upgrade from 9.01.18 to 9.0.1.1.15

Has any one done just an environment upgrade from 9.01.18 to 9.0.1.1.15?

If so willing to share what tests and validation were done and how much effort was involved

Hi Ram,

Are you looking for information on upgrade information from 9.0.1.8 to 9.0.1.13 (latest LSF version)?

You may want to verify the versions that you are moving from and to for clarity (there is not an SP18 or 15 for 901).

We upgradeed to ENV 9.0.1.12 and APPS 9.0.1.9 at the same time to get us up to version needed for INFOR 10. We did lots of testimg and found we has isses with WebSphere Application Server (WAS)/IBM 7.0.0 and had to apply FiXpatch. Do not know if this info will help you but since going up on ENV 9.0.1.12 we have been stable

We are running
WebSphere Application Server (WAS)/IBM 7.0.0.23 and have had no issues every time we open case with INFOR their quick response is upgrade to latest version in everything and why when we have no issues. They recommend Fixpatxch 29 but I am staying
WebSphere Application Server (WAS)/IBM 7.0.0.23 because weam planning INFOR 10 stuff

We are using WebSphere 7.0 Fix Pack 27

We went to WebSphere 7.0.0.29 as part of our upgrade to 9.0.1.12. WebSphere has been running great .

One thing that casued us problems after 9.0.1.12, is we missed a Lawson Env Patch. Test ran great, production ran great for 9 days. Then it crashed and would not start.

LSFCT_AIX61_09000112P26705 (contains JT465352). I would expect 9.0.1.13 to contain this already.

We are running Env 9.0.1.9 / Apps 9.0.1.7 / WAS 7.0.0.21 on Windows and are planning on move to Env 9.0.1.12 in preparation for the BSI 10 update. Can anyone post a summary of what Env / Apps / WAS patches are required for this process? Thanks.
