Email proxy user of req requiring approval

Hi-

We are on v11 landmark/IPA and have started testing the proxy users for req approval. The only issue is that the proxy task user does not get the email that lets them know they have something to approve. Before I start adding manual logic to the req approval flow to do this, can anyone tell me if there is a way in the email node to also send the email to the proxy user for a given task? Thanks!

You can assign a Proxy to a user's Task and that proxy approver should also receive the email on the UserAction - if it is initiated after the Proxy is setup. It won't send it to him after the fact.

Ours does not send the email. It goes to the proxy approver's inbasket but the email only goes to the non proxy user.

Looks like it's because we don't use the email on the user action. We email outside of the user action. I turned the user action email on and it did send the proxy approver an email.
