SubAccounts in Lawson 11?

We are looking at building out SubAccounts, but we’ve heard conflicting messages about their future.  One source told us that they’re going away in Lawson 11.  Another source said they’re not going away- they’ll just be “Dimensions” in Lawson 11.  Does anyone have a clear answer about this? I’ve tried to research but haven’t found anything that touches on this particular issue.

they do not go away, however they are different in 11. the sub has to have a specific purpose. for example, if you have a sub 0001 for a specific account that means "florida", then that sub 0001 will mean florida every time you use it. we are setting our up now - we decided to merge our account (4 digits) with our sub (4 digits) to have an 8 digit account, because our current sub-account structure was not set up to fit their "way".
