Unbound parameter in DataView

Hi all, I have a simple DataView using a fairly simple IDO. What I need to do it be able to create an input parameter that takes in an (number of days) and filters on a datetime field, pulling records from Today back to (Today - parameter).

I can find or figure out how to make this input. Can this be done within a "formless" scenario, or will I have to create a form and do some event scripting? I'm going to try this next, but my boss doesn't want me to create a form, only use input parameters on the DV.

Try this, on your IDO create a Derived Field that is the difference between today and the date field.

Then add the derived field to your DataView and filter on it.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately I don't think that'll work for this case, because the user has to input the # of days back from today's date, so the target date is floating. I think that would work if we were setting a fixed date span.
