I recently discovered the Delete Update Jobs field in Lawson Security Administrator Environment Information for a user no longer applies in v10. This is due to v10 no longer using LAUA. I reached out to Infor Support to find a solution since this field no longer works and they suggested changing the access on the QUEUEDJOB table to Conditional rule I,A,M. What we found through testing is this creates an all or nothing scenario. Users are either able to delete any running job or they are unable to delete any running jobs.
At one point Lawson was able to distinguish what was an update job and what was not. Has anyone been able to successfully restrict access to deleting update jobs, but allowed their users to delete report only jobs in v10?
