Auto Updation of Item qty in Sql Server.

We have an application that does part counting on reels and spits out a label with qty and lot. Is there a way to update Item qty behind the scenes using  Sql Server Stored Procedure as soon as the label is generated? Please advise.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to accomplish here or your environment, but if you can do it manually by doing miscellaneous receipts/issues based on what the label prints you could add calls to the miscellaneous receipt/issue stored procedures in the stored procedure that is generating your label. This is what we use to adjust some of the inventory at the year end and we used a similar approach at our go live to import initial inventory.
