Is there a tool or a way to better design the composite forms. I seem to constantly be struggling with changes I feel should be quite easy. For example, in GHR-TM within the JobApplication business class I am working on the "InternalApplicationOptionsForm" and by extension the "JobApplicationProcessComposite".

 

How do I adjust the sizing of the panel menu on the left hand side, I want to reduce the width and the position of the vertical line that separates the panel navigation from the main text body.

Additionally why is it such a struggle to change the text alignment of buttons. The "InternalApplicationOptionsForm" contains a button that sends users to the ApprovalTracking navigation link however I have been unable to move this button to the center of the display.

 

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated

I'll be watching the replies on your question, because if someone knows how to work this magic, I want to know too!



But, here is how I believe you will need to deal with it:



1. Size of tabs... you are not going to be able to adjust them. Your best bet will be editing the text labels on the tabs to make them shorter. Still not sure that will work, but it is worth a try.



2. Location of items... what you will need to do is create a multi-column section on the form, then use blank lines as place holders to get the item where you want to see it. By default, everything will be left justified unless you use multiple columns. The LPL will look something like this:

button link you want in the center

blank line
