Currently in IC11 there is a flag to identify if a MSDS is required for an item. There is no field there to input the revision date of the SDS. This is done at the various locations identified via IC12. This creates problems for when you have an item that is redirected via process flow to a "ship to" location, and the item is set up in an inventory location. When attempting to receive at the ship to; it does not allow you to receive all. You need to receive in PO30, line by line for those items because the system can’t find the items at the ship to location and verify that the revision date is current.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be done so you can receive the entire PO at once vs. line by line in PO30? I currently have an Enhancement Request to move the date field for the SDS to IC11 vs. IC12 so that no matter where an item is received it will look to IC11 and find a good revision date. This should enable you to receive normally. I would ask that people endorse ER # 27472.
