Syteline: How to create IDO based on external table

We have some applications which generate some data stored in MSSQL db.

Is there a way to show this data with Syteline? How can I create IDO for such "external" table.

Hi,



It depends on where the data is stored. If it's in the SyteLine database you can create IDOs directly to that table, or as previously mentioned create views off of those tables then create an IDO.



You can't create views off of stored procedures, but you can use them as custom load methods for IDOs to get the data into SyteLine.



If the data is stored in another database you'll have to add records to the IDO Linked Databases form and set up the link there. The system will then create Views for you and you'll have to go and create IDOs for them.
