ACA Error - Form file with invalid character in file name

We are still having issues transmitting our 2017 ACA file to the IRS. The file is rejected with the comment, "You have selected to transmit a Form file with an invalid character in the file name. Please rename the ACA Form file and try again (e.g. 1094B_Request_BB000_20140101T010102000Z.xml)" Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance!

The format looks OK, but we've only transmitted 1094Cs, not Bs. I don't know if the format would be different.

Do you have a screenshot of the name of the file that's being transmitted?

Here is a screenshot of our file names. We are transmitting 1094Cs.

Have you tried setting the file extension (".XML") to lower case, to match the manifest file name? Worth a shot.

I look at my transmission files and compared them with yours. They are similar in name structure. I also opened the Manifest xml file and found a line referring to the Document system filename. Can it be where the problem is? Here is the line in my Manifest xml file.

<p3:DocumentSystemFileNm>1094C_Request_BB4SK_20180328T152954000Z.xml</p3:DocumentSystemFileNm>
