Portal message: The portal cannot load because the profile service returned an invalid XML response
Has anyone ever gotten this message in IE when signing into portal? We don't get this with the IP address in the URL when using IE only. When we use Chrome, and other browsers using the hostname....it lets you into the host and application (MSCM, Websphere). But when using IE for the same URLS with hostname, it will not let you log into the application. However if you use the IP address for IE only, it will let you log into the application. I've compared the other browsers to IE and they are allowing entry. But, portal 9.0.1 is compatible with only IE, so we are getting this message when using hostname (not IP address). IP address again works great with IE as well as other browsers. I have searched all over the web for anything regarding this message. Thank you so much for any suggestions. Network group has no idea.
