We use Infor Lawson 10.0.7. When making a salary change, our employee supplemental life and spouse supplemental life should both change together at the same time. However, when we run a BN100 the employee supplemental life changes and the spouse supplemental life plan will stop, but does not restart. For example, the spouse supplemental life will stop at the current rate (Process: Chg Stop), but does not restart at the new rate based on the employee salary change.
In this case, we get a BN100 error report message: Ben Limit is based on coverage in EL pla. I tried changing the “Covered” from employee to spouse on our EL plan, but I get the error message “plan type=”EL”; covered field must be equal to Employee.” Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue or the proper way to link the employee and spouse supplemental life plans so that when a salary change occurs that both the employee and spouse supplemental life plans reflect the change without having to manually restart the spouse supplemental life.
