User Tasks Req Loc Filter Value

If someone is over multiple Req Locations that all begin with the same numbers, is it possible to create one Filter Value for them?

No, not unless you changed the value of the oCatValue variable. If your user approved 12345, 12346, 12347, etc. then you could change it to 1234 but the user would have to be set up with the same value.

I was hoping there was an easier way, so I didn't have to key in every value. Some of our approvers have numerous locations.

Sorry that's the way it is built, unless you do something out of the box. You could add an Approver ID in an address field on RQ01 and then read that in the flow and change the oCatValue to that ID (as long as you build it correctly in IPA).

Do you have Spreadsheet Designer? We keep our approval structure in a spreadsheet. When there's a big change, like we had recently when one of our medical center presidents retired, I can take those assignments and upload them to LTM.

Warning

If you modify the value of oCatKey or oCatValue; please remember to use a Landmark Transaction node to update PfiWorkunit's Filterkey/FilterValue fields as well. A change to oCatValue won't persist if the flow stops at a user action node. Or after each UA remember to change it again.

When a process flow starts up, it sets oCatKey=PfiWorkunit.FilterKey and oCatValue=PfiWorkunit.FilterValue and overrides your change.
