We are using Visual 8.0 and are single site. We have not used MRP to make purchasing and planning decisions and want to move in this direction. There are several fields duplicated on both the Part AND Part_Site table (i.e. Planning_Leadtime, Order_Policy, Order_Point, etc.). However, I only see data populated in the fields on the Part table. We recently did a mass update of the planning leadtime on fabricated parts and we also needed to update part, part_site and part_warehouse for planning leadtime to be displayed correctly in all areas of Visual. The information on Part_site appears to be critical for MRP exception reporting.
If we are single site, shouldn't data be populated on both tables? Is there a setting we are missing or are you managing this manually through SQL scripts or macros? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
