1095C's for Employees who work in more than one Process Level

We have employee how work in a number of our process levels. Currently the boxes are filled in for the PL where the employee worked the most hours that month. The employee gets a 1095c for each process level they had enough hours on a month. We have been informed by legal that we need to fill in the boxes for each month for each employee in each process level. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any suggestion?

We have that to some degree, although not extensively. We've always just reported under the entity where the employee worked the most hours for the entire calendar year. The BN990 can be run on ACA hours and will then determine the entity with the most hours for the year. That is the entity that we issue the 1095-C under and we report the entire year on that one form.

I'm not sure if that applies to your specific situation or not. KB1675724 gives a quick summary.

Our set up is different because our process levels have different EIN Numbers, so technically they are different "employers". Our employees who work across process levels have different employee numbers for each PL. The receive a 1095C for each process level that they work.
