Lawson 10.1 version vs. Lawson 10

Has any one done the upgrade to Lawson 10.1. My company is currently on version 10 and we are wondering what this will mean for us. The only thing I have found so far is that the look of it will be different for the user.

If you are referring to the new version of Portal, the differences you users will see should be positive for them. We did the beta for the new application and have been using it since last December.

What are the differences from 10.0.7 to 10.1? We were told that there were no changes. Our server is being decommissioned and we have 2 choices to consider. 10.1 or CS FSM.

We are still deciding which way to go with this, and are these the only options? What path did you decide on and why?

Good morning! I think we are mixing topics a little here. 10.1 is a set of UI enhancements designed to improve the end user experience when using the Lawson v10 product. For the technical folks - its a new and improved version of the Portal. Its not a whole new version of Lawson. The applications don't change, just the UI. Many v10 customers have taken this update and to Jeff's point, their end users have raved about the improved design. This is an easy update to take and minimally invasive, and can be backed out just as easy if needed.

CloudSuite Financials (aka v11) is truly a new version, and truly a full upgrade project. It is not just a piece layered on top of Lawson 10.
