Mingle CE - multi tenant

Not sure this is the most appropriate group to post this question in but thought I would try.

So, today we use Portal and LSO for accessing S3 data (10.0.7)

Use Rich Client install & applet for the Landmark side.

Moving to the cloud and we will need to use Mingle CE (I understand also referred to as v12).

I've tried to do some reading on this and it feels as though there are html development skills needed for this set up as well as Mingle having it's own set of security roles.

Am I interpreting that correctly? If so, would anyone mind sharing their support structure for mingle? Do you need half fte just to support it? Implement?

Any insight is appreciated.

Hi Annette, If moving to the MT cloud then yes; you will now be using Ming.le CE 12.0.x (aka InforOS). With InforOS IFS is now the security tool used for Security across all applications. ION Bods will then reach out to LSF and/or LMRK and add the users into those products.

We currently use Ming.le 11 but have begun researching Ming.le 12. Ming.le 11 requires SharePoint, and I think SharePoint security necessitates the additional Infor security role. From what I understand, Ming.le 12 eliminates the SharePoint requirement and opens the possibility of using an enterprise instance of ADFS (as opposed to installing ADFS on each Ming.le server). Ming.le 12 is also not available as an independent download on InforXtreme since it is now bundled with other applications (such as ION). This bundle is considered InforOS.

As for support requirements, our implantation vendor installed v10, Landmark, and Ming.le 11 in early 2016. We have not had to touch Ming.le or SharePoint since.
