Employee Business Class - Effective Date

I am using the Spreadsheet Designer tool and need to query on the Effective Date of employees' records on the Employee Business Class.  I do not see that field as an option to report off of.  However, I do see it when I try to do an upload onto this Business Class.

 

How can one report off of the Effective Date on Employee?

I think all you can do is search on one given date at a time using the "As of Date" filter below the field chooser.
