Duplicating PAUs across companies causing issues with Position numbers

Has anyone run into issues with using the same posting accounting unit across multiple companies and building a position in those same companies?

We have run into problems where it overrides previous setup in other companies using that same position.

We have a second issue, where we built a one-for-one (jobs/pau's). When HR started discussion with site staff and mapping of the licensure, credentials we realized that the Finance build will not accommodate HR to capitalize on the Lawson Licensure module to track licensures/credentials for all employees. We have nursing departments rolling-up to a Med Surg PAU. This limits HR to distinguish if a Nurse has the credentials/licensure to provide patient care in an specific area when they all roll-up to Med-Surg. This creates a risk during a JCAHO audit.
