Need some help here. We are preparing to lift to the cloud.. MT for GHR and ST for s3 payroll.
I'm really struggling with the MingleCE needing to login with the email associated on the AD account and correlating Mingle record.
Here is where I'm stuck.
If an employee or HR rep updates and employee ghr record for the 'use as work email' that automatically updates the 'contact' on the landmark Actor record (in our version at least (11.0.0/landmark 10)
That is how my system works. I have no custom ipa's in place to do this but I'm being told by a consultant "there's no native automation there, so it's under your control whether or not to let updates to resource email update the actor record."
Why I'm concerned about understanding this.. . that 'use as work' can be updated whenever an employee wants to.. Purpose of that field is for communication about their HR 'stuff'. Yet if it updates landmark actor record, that drives update to MingleCE and thus the 'login' in Mingle CE/mt world... .. but yet that email doesn't get updated in our AD .. they can't sign in as the mingle email has to match what is on AD record.
Am I making sense?
