Linking Position to User Fields

If I want to run a query that links the Position to their user fields I believe I would use the tables PAPOSITION, HRPOSUSD, & HRPOSFLDS.  I have tried any number of ways to link the tables together to show the current user fields to the position but I cannot seem to get it to work.  Does anyone have an insight on how to link these together so I get the current user field date?

POS-COMPANY -> HPD-COMPANY

"1 " -> HPD-TYPE

POS-OBJ-ID -> HPD-OBJ-ID

POS-EFFECT-DATE -> HPD-EFFECT-DATE
