Template for uploading new item masters using add-ins

Does anyone have a template that they have created to build new item masters using add-ins? The one we used to use is throwing errors, because I think our fields are off and I cannot seem to locate the issue. I would appreciate it greatly.

We use this spreadsheet template for mass adds mostly for the OR and Cath Lab areas. Our supply chain data coordinator was new to Lawson at the time so I added the field reference numbers at the top so she could make sure her mappings were correct. We're on V10.

On your template, where do you assign Classes and Accounts for IC11?

We don't use the account field in IC11 and we only use the purchasing class to restrict ordering and not many items need restricting. Other classes are not used. We do use UNSPSC fields but we rarely know what the code is at the time the item is added.

I figured it out

How do you know what Item Master # it created? My old worksheet would populate the item number, but I inherited it, so I am not sure how to make that happen.

We have automatic item numbering set to N. Our data coordinator knows what the last item number that she built is and she just loads the next numbers on the spreadsheet before the upload.
