Saving pack list taking very long time

We are using Visual 8.0 and when we create a shipment it takes anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes to save the pack list.  Some customer orders have 10 part numbers with each part having approx. 200 delivery schedule lines but we are only shipping against one delivery schedule line per part number.  Several hundred delivery schedule lines shouldn't cause Visual to perform so poorly but we haven't found any reference to slow pack list save performance in any of our knowledgebase searches.

We're curious as to what other users are experiencing when saving a pack list?

I haven't experienced your specific issue since we do not use delivery schedules very often. We had report printing performance issues in the past with a bulk of the reports within Visual. We found a setting was checked to Audit Report Times at the bottom of the Audit Configuration Window. This may not be your issue but it was very frustrating when trying to determine cause of our performance issue.
