We have three clients with the Error 1098, usually this points to blank records. either in PNAME, PTRAN, PALLOC, PANAL. Having eliminated these, we can establish that the F7 Payment function within Purchase Ledger processing seems to be where the error occurs (Now and Again). We cannot replicate the issue, so are just at a lost what the cause is.
It appears to be an issue with the way Pegasus is interpreting tickbox data. One of the errors we saw was for the advanced tickbox in Purchase Payment screen. The not only appears to be erroring (trying to interpret a space as a true/false flag), it errors in the error handling routine, which is why you only see “Description: Illegal value (“ text, there should be further text after this.
Anybody having or had the same issue?
