Bookmarks missing

A new user does not have bookmarks menu. What controls that showing up? Thank you.

delete or fix the [username].xml and make the user login again. I believe this is in the WEB folder

I don't have access to this folder. We are in the cloud.

If it was just the bookmarks I would say check to see if they have correct security roles. Have you tried clearing out the browser cache?

If the whole bar is missing I would look at their portal role in security. You could try changing it and then changing it back to what it should be if it is currently correct. The only other thing I can think of would be the SharePoint groups but I believe that only affects the very top bar above the bookmarks/search/preferences/etc (If you are on Ming.le 11).

In Infor Lawson 10 the file the bookmarks are in an xml file in $LAWDIR/persistdata/lawson/portal/data/users. I believe you can also pre-populate this with the Portal Role, but I haven't done that.
