Has anyone out there used this command to be able to explain to me what it is doing?
We have consulting firm working with us as we prepare to move to the cloud. They requested this be ran in our LTM prod environment to correct errors to eliminate him needing to do it on each migration.
But I'm trying to understand what the 'fix' actually does and I'm not getting anywhere.
A snip of the log Managed Services sent me to tell me the errors before 'fixing' (we are on prem but supported with Managed Services currently)
datamaint --auditsnapshot -Vc product line name
Command that was ran…..ie.. our production product line.. datamaint --auditsnapshot -Vc ltmprod"
Review the log file located in %LALOGDIR%/datamaint and look for any business classes that have the following message: *** Errors Detected ***.
To correct the errors, run the following:
datamaint --auditsnapshot -UC product_line_name business_class_name
snip of business classes with errors there are many more.
Is it going to 'fix' /change something that my end users see? That is what I am concerned with
