We just found out the 2018 ACA coding for a several entities is wrong. I have been testing using BN108 to correct the coding. The problem is: The contributions for these plans are based on employee group. We can run the BN108 for that employee group but the employee may no longer be in the same group they were when the health coverage offer was created. For example: The Fulltime Group ACA coding needs to be changed but the Parttime ACA group coding is correct. We can run the BN108 on the Fulltime Group. If an employee went from FT to PT they are no longer in the FT group so their offers will not be updated. Likewise if an employee went from PT to FT their offers will be updated when they shouldn't be.
Has anyone else encountered the problem of having to retro change ACA coding? If so how did you approach it?
I am wondering if it is possible to just pull all the data from BN29 and change what needs to be changed and then reload it via addins. Or would it be easier to run the BN108 for the FT group and then work on identifying those employees who changed groups through the year.
Ideas? Thoughts?
