We are using Cloudsuite HCM but I welcome any insight from any product line because I can't find any information anywhere.
According to the User Guide, Benefit Reasons are setup for tracking/reporting purposes for HIPAA compliance. Which leads me to believe they don't trigger anything or really have any function outside or reporting. However, when you set them up, the system prompts you to be able to attach Business Subject and Action Reasons to them. The guide says these "are the subject and reason used on the employee work assignment when making a change to the employee's information. These are the reasons that must be mapped to the HIPAA reason." But I'm not entirely sure what that means.
Has anyone been successfully using Benefits? Did you setup Business Subject and Action Reasons on your Benefit Reasons? Did this have any implications? I appreciate any lamens terms insight anyone can provide
