just an FYI for those who haven't discovered this new functionality or are looking for a reason to upgrade their TM application version. I discovered new functionality in GHR that wasn't made known, at least to me, unless you actually went through all of the Net Change reports released with the application updates. There is now a way to capture changes in GHR and view them on-line or capture them with Spreadsheet Designer and IPA. I believe through configuration console you could make them available in some 10.1.x releases, but they are actually noted in the 11.0.1.23 release notes. There is also setup documentation available through the Application Help on Infocenter.
I found two new business classes that you can access this data from using Spreadsheet Designer and IPA. They are the EmployeeTransactionHistory and EmployeeFieldHistory business classes. These work in conjunction with the Employee History Reports you setup and a job needs to be run to create the initial history records and another job run daily to update the records.
I am still running different queries and flows to try and learn as much about these new features, but so far have found more power when using them with IPA.
