Has anyone else gotten errors when a employee was a previous termination and was rehired trying to use New Hire Enrollment for benefits on ESS? We update the hire date and new hire is allowed for 30 days after hire date. We have some benefits that auto add at hire when employee goes active but they are separate from the new hire benefit options.
A rehired employee gets this error: "Error: You may not make changes to your benefits online. You already have current benefit elections. Contact the benefits department to make changes."
We would normally remove any active benefits on BN32 or we would remove anything pending on BS31 if we get a error like this. We did that and the employee still gets this error. Is there something else we may be missing?
