This is our first new program since upgrading to 10.0 (using LSA only - no more LAUA). I cannot find anything in the Infor documentation.
Oh dang....Ashanti, your comment just rang a bell. This has something to do with the "definition data source". The data source is set to a product line (we have many) that is NOT where we do our development. Do we need to move the program into that product line in order for it to show up in LSA?
Back in the day, when I wanted to add a custom program, one thing I always had to do was add it in tokendef
Been working on cloudsuite for the past 15 months and I don't have access to version 10 to test this. But one thing is certain: until you get on Landmark, LAUA never goes away!
sharon b, We also use pgmdef, for the new program generation. But when we migrate the custom program to other product lines, we simply copy them over. As I noted earlier, the issue was the definition data source. When you look at your application profile ID, you will see a "Definition Data Source", which will be one of your product lines. That is set up when you create that profile id, and it cannot be changed.
This means that if you create a new program in a different product line than the "definition data source", you will not be able to access it UNTIL you move it to the "definition data source" product line. At that point, it will appear in LSA, and you can assign security to it.
