We have noticed that when a change is made to a benefit on the BN32 retro back to the beginning of the month, the PR14 will override what was previously there.  Our Payroll Department is wondering if there is a way to preserve the history?  I am not very familiar with the PR14.  Any help is appreciated!

I have seen a couple options regarding deduction history in these cases, most at the table level.



The EMDEDMASTR table shows the history of employee deductions, but a retro change would go back and alter the rate of one of the line items.



The PAYDEDUCTN table will show a history of the deductions taken, which could be a good indicator of what was there. The retro action would likely add an adjustment record to this table to square up any money.



The HRHISTORY table holds changes to deductions for employees if the auditing(history flag) for this is active on HR10.
