USING MSCM - updating Stock on Hand to device?

Our organization has been live on Lawson v10 for just over a year. We are finally getting to a place that we want to research how to best utilize our handhelds.

Question: we would like to use the hand held (Motorola MC55A) to update available stock on hand. The last word is that S3 does not pass this to the IC application in MSCM. Thoughts to this? We can't imagine we are using MSCM at a different capacity than other users. If you have recommendations, please let us know.

All IC transactions (issues, cycle counts, picking, po receipts, etc) from the HH update the stock on hand. You cannot view stock status on the HH with MSCM.

Thanks for responding. Question: Advice? Is this a system limitation? I guess I am trying to understand- for instance, working at Target- I scan the barcode & it tells me SoH. I know how much to refill or tell the customer "we have five left. I'll go get it."

Is it systematic limitations, or is there a different way to find this information?

Thanks for the time- I am just trying to figure out the greatest benefits from MSCM.

There is no MSCM app that will show this. You can log in to Portal/Mingl in IE on the HH and view any of the IC40 series tokens, but it is very tiny to view the entire screen without scrolling.
