Non-exempt employees allocation - using % allocations.

We have Nurse Site leaders who work a many different EPN/EPS departments.

Instead of having these employees make many changes in Kronos could we have it automatically allocated with pre-determined %’s

Is anyone is doing it on non- exempt employees with percent allocations?

If you are talking about the PR23, then yes, we do % allocations on non-exempt employees. For some we allocate only certain pay codes, and for others, we allocate on all pay codes.

You can do the allocations in Kronos, either by entering the transfers into the schedule or by using the Percent Allocation Rules.

We use PR23 for employees who are clearly budgeted to different cost centers. We also do some deductions that way.

What if the percentages in PR23 do not add up to 100%?

I believe they have to or you can't add the distribution
