Has anyone submitted an Iowa W2 file to the state? We are getting the following error. We were told by Support to put our state "permit" number in the Employer Account Number field on the PR06.2. This didn't seem to help.
Also, can anyone point us to the field mapping document for the PR299?

The majority of these errors are caused by the user inputting the Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) into the State ID Number field. The Iowa Withholding Permit # should be listed in the State ID Number field. The permit number is always 12 digits long (example: 123456789001). Do not key in hyphens or dashes (-) unless your software requires them. Depending on the software, you may have to input this data when creating the file, or it may be listed the company profile information of the accounting software.
