How to add inquiry (I,N,P) access only, for multiple tokens at the same time?

I am only able to add this access for a single token. If I check a second one, the option for "Unconditional access for Action" option becomes unavailable. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong?

On a more serious note, there is a proprietary method that uses a spreadsheet to load security information. A few years back, we hired Ciber's Lawson consulting business to do our Lawson 10 upgrade. Since this was our first time we fully used LSA, the supplied us with their security loading spreadsheets. I still maintain them manually, in order to have a convenient record of how security looks. Now that Ciber's Lawson consulting is owned by Infor, you may wish to contact Support to see if you could get some help with it. The spreadsheet load is very, very powerful, because it can get hundreds of screens loaded to hundreds of Security Classes, with every intersection populated differently. We do not have the loading technology, that remained with Ciber.

If you have a similar security class, you could make a copy of it and then just modify it. This could save you some time.

I have a trick to make this work. Here are the steps:

1. Write your I,N,P rule on any token.

2. Make sure none of the boxes next to any token or program are checked

3. Check the box of any token that does not yet have a rule

4. Check the box of the token where you wrote the rule (in step 1). This will "copy" the I,N,P rule from step 1 to step 3.

5. Click Apply

To get this to work, you have to be careful with the checkboxes. It only works if you do the checking, unchecking, rechecking in the correct order.

Also, this only works if both tokens have the I,N,P actions available.

Derick, thanks. that does work - thanks. It IS tricky though! I was just hoping for something that would allow me to set a whole bunch of forms, like an entire system code, to "All Inquiries" for example. I don't need to have that many, but if I could do that, I would as that would just be such an easy and quick way to get an inquiry-only class.
