Anyone had any problems with the speed of Opera 3 when the users are accessing it through Server 2016 RDS ?
We have a site getting slow speeds in all area's of the system, taking 44 seconds to login and 15 seconds to load a processing form
We have done all the usual things like making sure QOS is off and av exclusions, even had SMB redirector caching off but it's made no difference.
However running the client from another (non rds) server it's fine.
DC01 - speed is fine from this server
APP01 - Opera server
RDS01 - hosting around 22 users on ave
RDS02 - hosting around 22 users on ave
With no users on the speed is not much different.
These are all on Azure so no issues with connectivity and no issues with site connectivity either. Specs of the servers are fine and we've even increased them with no change in speed. We've monitored the server performance and they are well within normal cpu, memory & disk usage.
It just seems like Opera is not performing well on server 2016 when it's configured as an RDS
