We will be exporting COBRA information from the system to pass on a file to our COBRA admin. We need to know what table(s) stores the:
- EVENT information (i.e. termination, versus Divorce, versus Dependent Age Off, etc.)
- EVENT DATE (i.e. termination date, divorce date, dependent birthdate, etc.)
- ORIGINAL ENROLLMENT DATE (i.e. when the employee’s benefits started)
- PLAN NAME (i.e. Lifespan Health)
- COVERAGE LEVEL (i.e. Employee Only, Employee + Spouse, etc.)
- DEPENDENT information (i.e. name, relationship to employee, SSN)
We also need to understand triggers in the system that push information to those tables so that I build the benefits module properly and so that we process terminations/events properly to get the information where it needs to go.
So far no one can tell me how the delivered system functions...
