We recently noticed that when we make an update to a PR16 step schedule (either updating an individual step rate or a new effective dated structure) that the pay rate information on the HR11 screen gets updated immediately. Not only for active employees but also for terminated employees. We are not sure if it has always worked this way and this is the first we've noticed, but it seems unusual for the pay rate to be updated for terminated employees on HR11. It does not update their salary history, that stays correct. Does anyone have a way of handling this for terminated employees, so the pay rate on HR11 stays at the last historical rate the employee had? Or do we just have to know for termed employees that were on a step schedule, the salary history is where we need to review their last accurate pay rate?
